Don’t Kirbys from that time usually go for significantly more? I remember a cordless model went for close to 10k last year.
There’s also rumors of a somewhat rich mysterious buyer (with a barn??) that buys up very rare stuff for insane amounts of money on ebay every so often. I could be misremembering. Very competitive bidding when something rare pops up. |

This is considerably low for am old fashioned Kirby.
There is someone who buys hoover at all costs. I've heard about an old woman who is loaded. She buys what she wants and stores it in the attic never to be seen again. I have only heard stories but I've seen Machines won supposedly by her. I believe she may be the person who paid 10 grand but I'm not positive. There is a poster Kirbymodel2c named James from England. He is super friendly and owns one of if not the nicest and most extensive collections of Kirby. He has a museum in England. |
