There's this Kenmore canister on my local craigslist that I've never seen before. The canister body looks familiar, but the power nozzle is new to me. Is this something worth saving? I don't have much personal interest in it, but I know others are more into Kenmores

Yes, definitely worth saving!
I believe that's a mid 1960's model, about '65-'66 or so. The painted wand is what comes attached to the power nozzle, which is original. The chrome one looks like it would be for using with the attachments, or perhaps from another model. It appears to have the Sears Best sticker on the canister and the performance indicator light, so this was the top model at the time. |
