Given how expensive the Rainbow is, and given how corrosive Hydrochloric acid is, do you really think that is a good idea? |

I assume if he is using store bought spray-on stuff on the floor, along with using the Rainbow to wash and rinse, I think it would not be strong enough to cause any serious damage. If it is full on industrial strength cleaner and he's putting it directly into the Rainbow, I do not think that would be wise. It will eat through the tubing (all of it) and possibly affect the motor from the vapors.
I have a Rainbow D series (D3?) that someone thought would be cool to clean up racing fuel in a go-kart garage, suffice to say that did not end well for the Rainbow (kaboom). I saved it, but she will need a lot of work, and the racing fuel smell on it is noxious so I had to leave it in my garage. |
