It’s very nice. I had to replace the original hose, but otherwise mine runs like the day she left the factory.

Tom, about the Maroon 2 speed............

Was it the first model under the Tri Star name, or was there a one speed model before it? I've always been curious why the solid switch/handle was discontinued on later models after this one. I always thought it gave the machine a clean, contemporary look. That's also the only model I ever saw with "Figgie International" on the S/N badge. Their ownership of Tri Star must have been short lived.
