I know several people out there make Hoover coffee can bags, does anyone make old, prewar Eureka bags? I need 2, one for my Model K, and one for my model 10. If anyone makes them, or has a couple laying around that they would sell, please let me know! Thanks!

Don't know I'll look in one of my catalogs to get right bag type.
You can put PUt a 3 inch long pvc pipe in the opening of the bag you can use f@G bags.
I researched my catalogs look up eureka type J bags.

Sounds like a good idea, but I need the cloth outer bag for both. One has been shortened to the point of not being able to use it, and the other is discolored to three different colors of brown, from black, and has a big hole right in the middle of the lettering.

You use e6000 you can glue the holes.
I have leather seats and I had a 2 inch l shaped cut. I put it on the seen wiped of excess and cure 24 hours and it looks slot better.be warned in California you can get cancer from a.
You can get a bag off ebay glue on the bottom portion.
If you cut out logo and put on another bag is what Jeff has done and it looks really good.
Edgar off this site is to thank for the pvc idea. I think he used 2 45 degree fittings to make bag parallel with the handle.
If you have the spring or collar people use to hold F&g bags on with you can use that as a spring I think it's pretty close to the same diameter which is close to 2 inches.

Won't work with this, the K bag sat outside and is very ugly on a vacuum. Looks cool on the wall of my display closet though so that is where it will be. It is shown below. As for the 10 bag, I will cut the logo out and sew it on a plain black bag, once I can get one made.
I would like to get a different color scheme made for the K, as I custom painted parts of it red, so I am looking to get a repro of the late 30s style, in white with red lettering. These do exist, but are are very rare to find in good shape.

I wish I could get a bojack one on eBay, but there has not been one on there for any price in quite a while. I need one in this shape, I have tried other bag styles on these Eurekas, it just looks weird. www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bi...
The one in the thread is what mine originally looked like! The only reason the letters are silver on mine is because all the gold was worn off, and I wanted to at least see the lettering.

The same material tape off bag use house paint to make the logo. Older bags like my 1927 royal is a paint like house paint.
It's an idea but on some bags it would be duplicating what they did.
