I was in my local habitat for humanity store a few days ago and came across a Kirby cord so I picked it up. It is in good shape and has the round female end and has the rubber metal holding clamp piece on it too to support the cord. The metal clamp is not there, but the rubber part the clamp mounts to is there on the cord.

It is genuine as the plug head says Kirby on it.

I’ll sell it to anyone here who needs it…just reply to the thread.

Hoping someone will return the favor and sell parts they don’t need here. I’m looking for a swivel stop for the older Electrolux pigtail hoses personally…they are hard to come by and Aerus discontinued the swivel stop so they don’t come on the new pigtail hoses which can still be ordered.

How much are you looking to get for it? What color hose stop do you need?

Some parts. Most of an Elux L, motor hasn't run in awhile so I will not make any judgments on the condition of the bearings. $10 + shipping and it is yours.

Eureka model 9/10 handle with hardware, rare Hoover 543 metal handle(from triangular badge version), Hoover 543 roller with good bristles and ok bearings. $15 for all of it plus shipping. I have a custom box that fits handles like these so shipping won't be too bad.

Sorry for relayed response.

Apologies for the delayed response. I’ve been swamped fixing up a property to get it sold.

I will post pics of the Kirby cord shortly and then the swivel lock for the Electrolux hose that I am interested in.

I’ve also received thoughtful emails from members asking about the cord. I’m trying to decide what the best plan of action is for this to be fair. Perhaps a best offer situation over a timed period or maybe just put it on eBay and give everyone the item number once I have it on there. I mostly would like the item to go to a home where it will be well appreciated as I know these items are discontinued.
