I recently purchase an Eureka 5071 burnt orange self propelled vacuum. It was/is in great shape. Problem is when it was packed for shipping, they bent the spring cord that controls the self propelled option. They no longer sell the part :(

Does anyone know where I can find one.

Thank you
Joel

Spring cord? Do you mean the cable that's attached to the handle? It should be very much similar to an automotive aftermarket choke cable. You should be able to modify one of those.

I'm pretty sure on ebay it can be found. There are a few sellers who bought old vacuum stores inventory. Find the person selling eureka parts and it's highly likely they have one.
