Would it be possible to put the speed switch from a Kirby Classic 1CR onto a Kirby Tradition so that it can use a Sanitronic head? Thanks. |

I butchered a wiring harness to try this.
You could try to make it a 1 speed and bypass the safety switch. It can be done I've actually done it. You could use a 515- sanitronic 7 single speed and use a pre 1965 floor nozzle. You could JB weld a pin on the nozzle to hit the hit the safety switch. This being said it's super hard and time consuming. I have a 6 amp royal single speed coil. This would make it so you don't have a safety switch and it would fit the sanitronic nozzle. |
