A new addition to my GE / Premier family! The machine is a variable straight suction control unit with no PN .

SO jealous! Wow what a find! I especially like the floor nozzle!

GE

The Swivel Tops were a great and common vac.The above and the power nozzle models have to be the rarest of them all.Out of hundreds of swivel tops I have seen maybe 4 of the C-18.I have never found the instructions and did not know that there was a cardboard tool caddy after the plastic tool caddy hung on the vacs. The first Mo 815 had a caddy with place for hose and Swivel Tops and Roll Easys had cardboard caddy for tools and wands into the late 50s.
AMAZING and RARE find!!

That's so neat. I've had one of those for decades. I traded it in on a Rainbow in the very early 1980's. Kept it and cherish it. What a great find.

As always, a beautiful machine and presentation! My aunt favored this brand and style of vacuum, it's so nice I'm afraid I would ruin it from wanting to use it all the time ❤️

I had the exact same one minus the cardboard tool caddy. It was given to me by a collector then went back to him. Because at the time I felt I had too many vacs. Probably should have kept it. Yours looks good!

Guys thanks so much for the feedback! A fellow vac collector and friend was so kind as to custom make the accessory carrier for me. He actually made two additional accessory carriers for my other GE canisters.

accessory carrier

Great job on this. There was a GE cardboard caddy for deluxe upright attachments as well as MV-1 styles to about 1970.The above looks like it could be part of the same 'family'.Does he repair or replicate other carriers that would have been with many deluxe vacs of the 50s?

Hey Keith

I wondered, do you do any of the restoration or do you buy restored vacuum cleaners?
Some folks on here talk about the restoration process they performed and often include pictures of the progress.
