Hi!
I was wondering what you could tell me about my favorite vacuum, my Hoover u7075. It has a serial number of 0005933. I'd love to see vintage ads/literature for it Also, can you tell me what civilian Convertible it's based on? Also, which 1950s/60s vacuums are still available in commercial versions? (I'd love to know which Sanitaire models correspond to vintage Eureka models.)

The classic "Tradition" line of fan-first Sanitaire uprights has pretty much the identical motor hood as the famous Eureka Vanguard from 1970. That's the oldest design still available from Sanitaire. These Sanitaires can even use Eureka's famous F & G top-fill bag which made it's debut in the early 1960's.
