It was yesterday, July 15, 1975 that I purchased my own Hoover 1076 Convertible.
It was on 'clearance' at Jewelcor, and sold for $84.00 I got it for $59.00. It's been serviced both in Wilkes-Barre and later, Scranton. It was the daily driver for years and years, and still looks and operates in mint condition. I'll try to post a pic from one of the other posts it's in. It just proves, that, it you take care of good, quality things, they WILL last. 1975, I remember it very well. | ||
