I was vacuuming the basement whit my green electrolux zb 89 and my hose came undone at machine end.Just great......

 

 

Sooooo i had spare tristar hose made fit the coupling pig tail aded and voila yippie she works pics after work.

Shes working good might get longer hose down the line but for now shes back in action.

Like i mention above..... this hose will do for now until i get a better one this temp some of yall have barret jackson condition vacuum allright some of us use em for what they are vacuum to CLEAN with.

its a temporary set up. Until i finish working on my c9 that needs a new motor this will do UNTIL i Find a new proper period correct hose for the zb 89 you need to understand this is TEMPORARY ..... like a spare tire on a car jsut get me by until i find the hose i want ok. One restoration at a time ty .At least for now shes back in action like the title mention lux spare(a temp fix from spare parts of course its not period correct its made from spare part just so i ca nuse it until i fix my c9 compact .)

mmy vacuum cleaner are use for guest what vacuuming of course there not barret jackson condition period correct prstine condition . Why? there bein use 365 days a year my daily drivers are my vintage machine i am sorry taht lux zb 89 is not u pto snuff for some of yall but i got her for 60 bucks!! 60!

its not like i pad 3 million for it who cares if shesa lil rough around the edge she picks up the dust and puts it in a bag tahts all i ask of her once i get more money and come back from y much needed vacation i will look on ebay fora proper period correct hose for my lovely zb 89 yes shes gota tape hose tahts 5 years old .... shesa spare hose jsut to get me by for now but no leaks no issue good enough for me and bobby mcgee ty .

Im the same way here , once i finish replacing the motor in my c9 ill look for a better hose for my lux zb89 (paid 60$) on fb marketplace works pretty good so far .
