No longer for sale sadly. Going by the design of the fan housing and badge, as well as the motor, it appears to be made by the UK branch of the Electric Vacuum Cleaner Co(Made GE, Premier, Aladdin, etc here, Ediswan and others there). Note the odd light fixture plug. www.adverts.ie/other-anti...

It would probably have been up against the likes of the British Vacuum Cleaner Company's 'Goblin' cleaners.

The 'the odd light fixture plug' is of the bayonet type (push-in and twist). I wonder whether the adapter is detachable to reveal a two-pin plug?

It was common for the user to remove the light bulb from the overhead pendant, insert the two-pin plug into the bayonet adapter, insert the adapter-plug into the light socket, and use the appliance accordingly - with the flex trailing from the pendant fitting. Not ideal by any means.
