to all of the kindness I've received.
Yes, I had major surgery this past Thursday.
Surprisingly, I was at my aunt's 4 hours later. I'm recuperating at her house. She dropped me off at my house twice now, to check on the cats, etc.
I'm facing 2 more big tests in August.
This was much harder than I thought it would be. Although it's very painful,
I'm slowly improving daily.
Sorry to disappoint those who hoped this would fail.
But, I'm profoundly grateful for ALL of the kindness, prayers, and positive thoughts. I'm staying "under the radar" for a while.
I just wanted to check in.
God bless.
John

I had surgery 3 weeks ago. I didn't tell anyone because people would feel sorry for me and sympathetic. I'm glad sharing your life details and praising the kindness of others helps. I'll stick to being humble and feel good about myself without others empathy.
Good for you you survived congratulations. My wife and my mother in law have had 4 surgeries in the last month.
My point is please post topics like this in designated forums.

First, I'm glad both you and your wife are fine.
I wasn't and still am not telling my life story.... to get sympathy or anything else.I certainly do appreciate the kindness of others. I also , by now, expect the people who very much dislike me (there are a few), to continue. I don't believe we ever had a cross word between us, and am sorry if you have any hostility.

I won't post the brain tumor MRI, the breast tumor, the rupture, etc... results, because the only people who really know about personal, serious things are the people who are very close to me, because they care.

Again, I am deeply grateful to those people who were/are very kind to me. I'm sure you know that my gratitude is sincere.
John.

I just think posting in the proper forum was my issue.
I took care of my dad and I got off work and found him.
I guess I'm trying to point out personal things are personal and I was hinting to not bring it to message board. Something like that idk.
I have no hostility or I'll will. My only issue was posting in main vacuum forum.
Gods speed recovering and best wishes.

I respond:
This is why I have long maintained that Vacuumland needs a "Community" forum where members can check in on things not related to their vacuums.

From what I hear, that is what the Miscellanea forum is, but it is for upgraded members only.

Things are looking up. Now, I can even drive. A few little things to deal with, but.... hey.

I appreciate all of you, very much.
