Finally found a pretty rug with colors which I like, and work with existing room colors. Home goods run today on the way to Costco in woodland CA. $400,9x12.5. Turkish, soft color and feel. I'm in love ❤️

And of course the Silverado gets along with a carpet very well. It's time to hunt for a couch That's a better match.

Borrowed a truck, and finally got help to get it in! It's a very different look after 30 years with the other but I like it, comfortable.

Thanks Charles! Very appreciative, it was a big step for me after 30 years to put my credit card in that kind of hurt again but it certainly was nice to wake up to.

Well, I tried the Kirby H2 Legend today, for sure the best match for the carpet!

Thanks Les, I've lived here 40 years and it's always been a very traditional Oriental rug so something a little different and a little more casual and softer looking I'm liking it!

Oh, this thread is great, and I upvote the Silverado (and everything related to it) since I have one. Lovely rug, lovely home. Thanks for sharing.

She is a family member! Purchased from a pawn shop in 1990. As you posted in your thread there is some yellowing on some of the plastic parts particularly the wands for the power head with the sheath. Thanks for your kind words

My sister has one. I got mine where she got hers...The Bombay Company. I sold it to a co-worker, when I got an antique coffee table to go with the leather loveseat.
You've furnished your place nicely.

Thanks again John, I can't take a lot of credit as a good deal of things in my home where gifts or inheritance from relatives but I try to make it all work together. The table and an armoire came from a three-story on upper market his buddy was one of the first of the AIDS victims so I think that's about late '80s maybe? And my brother bought this from the estate sale it ended up here some years later.

will be great. That "quadraflex agitator" will groom beautifully. A Windtunnel II might be too strong. Best of luck !!

Of course, a Decade 80

will be perfect, too. Nothing like a "Convertible". And, that's really what a Decade 80 is!

Living room make over.

You got this right, and your color choices are spot on! The nice thing too is that it won't look dated any time soon, if ever! A friend bought a couple of those carpets from Costco, and wow what a difference they made in the rooms. Very nice indeed. Add one more vote for the D-80 to be used on the carpets! Billy
