This now makes my third Refurbished Elux 1205. Thereís been many helpful discussions about the history of the Electrolux refurbished machines and how they made it possible for any consumer to own the high end house hold name! Iíve been informed that the refurbishment program was not without misgivings as some of the machines were sold with bad motors. This would probably explain one of the reasons why the program didnít last. No thread hi jackin please!

love my 1205

I love my Electrolux 1205, I'm guessing mine is one of the later ones because it does not use an external cord, it uses the standard electric hose for the metal Electrolux canisters. I love the motor sound of the 1205, very pleasant sounding.

Looks nice except I hate it when they repaint the vacuums with a different color. I used to have an Electrolux model G that was refurbished by Electrolux but it had a burnt-out motor and that was one of the many reasons it was thrown out.
