Well, we're working on a date for the "Scranton Convention". We're looking at 4 hotels, all about 3 miles from the airport.
I'm having work done on my yard this summer in preparation for the visit to my home.
Hopefully, the carpenters can be here working on the 'gallery' while I'm recuperating from surgery in June. It will be a great time to get it done, while I'm stuck at home.
I already have tables and gazebos, etc..
Will be a great time, after such a long absence (thanks, COVID).
There are some very nice things in the works for the invasion of The VCCC here in the Pocono area.

Shame collectors here don't have conventions. Don't know one single collector personally over here and have lived back here for 23 years now. I sure wish I could have stayed over there. I am sure I would have had loads of collector friends and probably a massive collection.

I would have loved working with Jimmy in his vac shop.

in '08, for Hoover's 100th birthday.
IF you ever get over here, you're very welcome to visit................a mini meet.
It would be fun.
I'm 2.5 hours from New York City.

The only big time collector over there would basically be Roger (ibaisaic), if there was ever going to be a convention in England he would be a good place to start at gathering people up. Both his YouTube and Facebook profiles pull in all kinds of collectors - more from England than the USA due to internet algorithms favoring the country of the user than the viewers. Just collect all of them in one building with cheap rent and all at the same time, and presto, convention.

It would be great if they could

do that.
I've been to many U.S. states, simply due to our conventions. They were awesome places.
I hope our members will enjoy the trip to Scranton, PA. I know it's 13 months, but, before you know it....................
And, we are slowly gathering thought, plans, ideas, etc.
And, after 2 years of 'no conventions', because of the pandemic, I'm sure people will love to get together again. Yes, there have been mini meets, and that's great. I'm hoping to post some of them in our newsletter.
So, VCCC members, think about coming to Scranton.
