We are now starting the prepare the next issue of The VCCC newsletter.
Now would be the time to start sending articles, photos, recipes, spa tips, 'wish lists', etc.
We will also be remembering our recently passed : Greg Fildes and Andy Estal.
Please, no negative comments. That would be greatly appreciated.
I know it will be a great issue, 'spotlighting' EUREKA!

Here's your answer about the newsletter.

First, you have to PAY to join a club. The "VCCC". After you pay, you become a club member. Your dues are paid once a year, and entitle you to two things. One is a copy of the newsletter. The other is the ability to come to a convention. You either have to be a paid member of the "club" or the guest of a paid member.

As you can tell, the newsletter is put together from things that paid members send in. Or things that John has in his collection. He has someone type it up and then has it printed. Then the 'newsletter' is mailed to 'members'.

Your first thing to do if you want a 'newsletter' is to get your checkbook. You make out a check to someone and mail it to that person, who puts your name on 'the list' of club members. I believe (I'm not a member) that your dues always become due in January of each year if you want to remain a 'club member'.

Please disregard past, poking comments from former members who might be bitter or angry because they were banned from the club.
Many changes have been made over the years to our club.
True, there are dues, newsletters (3 a year). There WERE 4, but, we changed that. There are loads of items in the issues: photos, ads, tips (repair, etc) recipes, spotlights on various vac Companies, etc. There is very little, if anything solely from MY collection involved. WE collect various items from members, friends, etc. People who are no longer members should really not comment about things which might or might not be true, or even concern them anymore.
Perhaps we can get you a copy of one of our issues. Perhaps you could come to our next convention. It will be in Scranton, PA, I'm about 2.5 hours from New York city, to give you a reference. Feel free to email me. jlong2@luzerne.edu.
