I recently purchased this wonderful Philips compact TC535 from the early 90s though the design seems to date back to the 80s.
It's far more maneuverable than the giant DutchTechs we got here in the states.

Wondered how many other collectors had these in their collection?

Europe and Japan are absolute masters at creating excellent compact suction-only canister cleaners. We need more of them in our stores in North America now that wall-to-wall broadloom is no longer in fashion here. And with enough air-flow, well-designed European turbo nozzles help to clean surface litter stubbornly hanging on to area rugs.
