Hi Robert (unimatic1140),

I am wondering if you plan to overhaul this website for one or more reasons.

One of the suggestions I would to have you look into is this: to increase the available amount of time for editing or deleting posts (for paying members) from six hours to 12. I am recommending this at the suggestion of at least one user here: UberGreenGuru, and every year I continue to pay to help keep this website alive.

The other fix I am suggesting, again at the suggestion of the same user, is to allow for the use of certain special characters in the thread's title and within the thread itself (see attached screenshot), since initially the title of one of his threads caused the site to load slowly at times.

Yes I have no problem with doing that and will consider it when I do some upgrades next.

That had nothing to do with special characters that caused that issue, when I saw it I fixed it.

What is LMDE?

I may be wrong, but one of the possible answers for LMDE is Linux Mint Debian Edition.

Levi,

Since 2018, I had been a Linux Mint user. Windows 10 was giving me too much grief every time it randomly froze.

And for Robert (unimatic1140):
Yes, as Paulo (earthling177) had commented, LMDE means "Linux Mint Debian Edition."

Robert,

Another change I would like to see to this website, for paid users, is the ability to remove a thread outright, whether it is a duplicate thread or one that could be potentially offensive to other forum members.

I hate windows 10 with a passion. I'll back my files up and look into uploading Linux.

Just get Windows 7 and stick with that. I've used it since 2011. Still am using it.

Also Windows 11 has come out this month, its supposed to be a vast difference from 8 and 10, and its supposed to be going back to what made 7 functional and easy to use properly - so they say.
