Hi, all!
I just bought an apple green Eureka 2375A, serial number 17583152. What can you tell me about it and its awesome box bag? Also, was $40 a reasonable price to pay? Nick |

Beautiful Eureka! This design was called the Continental series indicated by the cursive labelling on the motor hood. I can’t remember the exact date of this series of “round-hooded” Rugulator uprights, but I think we are talking 1976 or 1977.
The box-top bag was introduced by Eureka Williams in about 1970 with the arrival of the famous Vanguard upright. It was designed to provide better air flow and filtration at the top of the famous “top-fill” F&G bag. This 2300 series debuted only a few years after Eureka’s uprights took top places in Consumer Reports tests...it should offer excellent carpet cleaning with its Vibra Groomer brush roll. Enjoy your new toy!!! |
