I think I have 3, should sell 2.
There was also one in one of the schools where I taught. It was lost in the school fire.

They made TONS of them!

It was an odd 'revival' to have the base not white, but monochromatic.
A great little Convertible. Nothing 'deluxe', but, still.......................

When I was a teenager, that model was for sale at our Walgreens for $59. I always thought it was so bare bones. The Convertibles at K-Mart were the same price and were much more deluxe.

Still my fave. Maybe I will get one someday.

My mom used to clean the clubhouse at the neighborhood my grandma used to live in, and there was one of these there in the closet. My mom brought her own vacuum that she kept there, but sometimes I would get that gold Convertible out and use it in the summers when I went with her to help out. I liked the sound it made. There was a Kirby Tradition there too, but I was afraid of it, and would only use the Convertible.
