So recently I've been using my Fairfax as my daily driver with a HEPA bag installed. Works really well but the old eureka powerhead was kinda worn out and wasn't the best for the job. I did a complete overhaul on the unit, New filters, new gaskets, and installed a shiny new Wessel-Werk SFBC 340 powerhead and wand. You can actually buy this powerhead directly from Fairfax on their website and have it include the wand free which is pretty cool. Nice to see such an old machine still has parts readily available from the manufacturer.

That's really cool. I love the Fairfax's form factor--so retro modern. Excellent that they're still supported to the extent that you can bring one into the twenty-first century like that.
