Are there any vacuums in the UK (brand new) that are soft-bag?

Well, anything by Numatic, Sebo and Miele for a kick off. AEG still make bagged vacuums with cloth bags as well.

'Soft bag'

He means in the style of the Hoover Junior, Hoover Senior, Hotpoint Light & Easy, Hoover 'Turbomaster Soft Bag' - where the paper bag was enclosed by a soft fabric outer bag with zip.

'Hard bag' were the types with a rigid plastic casing (Hoover Turbopower, Electrolux 500 Series, Sebo X Series).

Oreck, Soniclean, and Kirby are the only ones that come to mind.

Oreck and Kirby

Sadly apart from Oreck and Kirby, thats it. Or do vorwerk do one? Not too sure. I know sebo do one that is advertised as more light weight, I cant think of the name of it now but anyway its more plastic than soft bag, although you do have to unzip an outer fabric bag to get to the paper bag. Apart from oreck and kirby there isnt any others I dont think.
