With the new addition of a Hoover 102, one comes in, one leaves. I am parting out my Hoover Special 543, this version originally had the triangle badge. This model has a special metal handle, it is curved, but has a seam at the back, and no spot for a switch. Motor runs, but could use oiling. Has a bakelite switch, as it was rebuilt in July of 1945. The crumbling paint and damaged plastic tag have been removed from the top of the head, but the bottom and sides of the fan case still have the brown paint. One of the corners of the front housing has a small crack, and the wire belt guard is partially broken. The motor has not been repainted by the looks of it, and is missing a substantial amount of paint at the base. I have a "Special" black bag, but needs patches sewn in where the bag nuts sat, as it really damaged the fabric. No bag spreader or front wheels, but rear ones are there. The original roller has been greased with white lithium grease and has been given a once over with steel wool, but could use a through clean. The red bristles are amazingly, still good. Pics in a few hours.

More pics are available upon request. The pics show it with the bag bolts and front wheels off another Hoover, they are not for sale. The original bag bolts are rusty, but functional, forgot to take a pic of them.
