Hello all,

I am collecting Kirbys as i go but am having trouble matching the original outer bags up with their models, especially after a rebuild. Is there a resource that shows them in order so i dont have to worry about which frankenkirby is in front of me!? Thank you in advance!!!

I can't guarantee that it shows every variation but this Web page from Kirby shows each major model except for the present Avalir 2.

Yeah thats not all of them, but thank you. There are several models that are pre tech-drive that i am adking about. Several were converted during rebuilds and may have different bags on them as well.

I've read on here that Kirby denies even the existence of those commercial machines. I've never even seen a complete Janitronic, only parts that were listed on eBay a few years back. Must be rare as hen's teeth.

Hershel,

Apparently they have been denying such machines ever since they ceased to manufacture the Super-Vac 180, COMVAC 1300 and COMVAC 1600 in late 1984/early 1985.

And, in Kirby's "Building of a Legend" poster they issued while the Heritage II Legend went on sale (it's that model you see in the dead center of the poster), the Dual Sanitronic 80 is shown with the incorrect white grip from the American Lincoln Super Sweep (emerald green housing parts, 1968-1972).
