On the back of my Fantom Fury, there's a toll free phone number for the Fantom Help Line, which was available Monday-Friday from 8am to 8pm Eastern Time. So I tried calling that number using my iPhone, and I was redirected to SharkNinja's customer service center. They were unavailable at the time I called, though, as this was an hour after their call center closed today (Saturday).

This is just an FYI that if anyone attempts to call the Fantom Help Line nowadays, it'll redirect them to SharkNinja. It makes sense, as the Fantom name was sold to Euro-Pro (now SharkNinja) after Fantom went out of business nearly 20 years ago. However, Euro-Pro Fantoms were discontinued a long time ago.

Have you tried calling the support number on a vintage vacuum in today's world? If so, what was the result?

Fantom technology produces vacuums using dysons technology. They're named Iona before changing it to fantom. Iona was formerly known as Regina. I'm pretty sure it was based out of canada. They did go bankrupt. Fantom technology did get brought back from the dead and he used to post here. He was trying to make dvd's of the old fantom vacuums.
Fantom is much closer to Dyson than shark. It's rather ironic.

Does 2007-ish count?

I called the support number on my Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive last year, out of complete boredom, and it was still active. It was either Memorial day or July 4th last year, and I got a recording saying "Thank you for calling the vacuum support line, our office is current closed for the holiday, please call back during regular hours" or something similar.

So apparently they're still using that number.

I don't think any of my older vacuums have a phone number on them!

Dirt Devil

Since I'm a Dirt Devil fanboy, it might seem obvious that I have called the number on the bottom of my broom vacs. It takes me to the current dirt devil phone number, which is cool. When I ask about service for older dirt devils though, they inform me that the model has been discontinued as if it wasn't obvious they haven't been in stores for 25 years.

Regards, Garrett
