Are these any good? The windsor Versamatic, Lindhaus, or the Powerflite PF19?
How do these compare to a commercial canister vacuum with power Nozzle?
Are dual motor uprights more powerful ?
Thanks.
The Windsor Versamatic is a rebadged Sebo. They're excellent machines, high performance, smart design, very durable.
The Windsor/Sebo is made in Germany. Lindhaus, despite the German-sounding name, is made in Italy. Again, good machine, but to me, it feels a bit less well-put together than the Sebo.
I'm not familiar with the Powr-Flite model, but it is a clone of a machine that has been around for quite a few years, so I'm guessing it's a decent performer.
I'm partial to two-motor machines. They offer consistent brush performance that doesn't bog down the suction motor. The ability to turn off the brush on hard floors is a plus. In a commercial setting where time is money, they're designed to pick up the most dirt in a single pass.
The downside? They're obviously more expensive, and more complicated. They also tend to be heavier. But true commercial machines are built to a very high standard of dependability and repairability.
If you're interested in a two-motor machine, consider the Sebo Felix, a lightweight, maneuverable model that a lot of folks here appreciate. The Aerus upright is also worth a look.
