I just wanted to make a post about a recent experience. I returned this machine in the eBay seller is currently selling it broken. I just wanted to warn the community not to purchase this machine. Here's a video showing whats broken and the like to the live ebay listing.

You would think

the seller wouldn't want to blatantly lie KNOWING full well the person who receives item as "not described or not even close" is going to leave bad feedback and return it. What's the point?

That poor thing looks like a refugee from the trade in pile or---the shop junk box!

Years ago I also purchased an Aria platinum from Ebay for like 400 and when it arrived it was pretty dirty and had a short in the hose that would cause the machine to shut down there were some other issues with it too that I cannnot recall. It too was sent back for a refund.

But anyways glad you were able to get your money back that's pretty crappy. It's also pretty sad that they attempted to appease you with $20.

Those wands from what i recall aren't supposed to have a button lock in them the lock on the powerhead inserts into the hole.

This is what I like about Ebay

Although you rarely need to use it, if there is a problem, you can return or negotiate a settlement.

Also, there's nothing wrong with a party advertising a broken product as long as they are honest about the condition. People need to know what to expect.

If it's advertised as NEW it should be that when it arrives.
A PARTS ONLY machine means don't expect it to work.

The problems is when the seller falsely advertises the condition.

Agreed. I would much prefer to be pleasantly surprised by a relatively easy fix for an item advertised as non-working than to receive a broken one that is falsely advertised as working. Unfortunately, there are some unscrupulous sellers out there so it's still possible to get burned. Thankfully, eBay Buyer Protection to be pretty good about taking the buyer's side on things.

You're fortunate.

I didn't have the same experience with ebay OR the seller. Two different times, I got ripped off.

@tolivac 🤣😂 it definitely was a refugee of a vacuum.

@Blackheart You're not wrong it could have been worse I've had much worse.
I got screwed on a Bridgeport milling machine that UPS freight supposedly misplaced some of the parts.

@gregvacs28 get your Nazi sympathizing ass out of here!

@gottahaveahoove You're right I feel very fortunate to have gotten my full refund it was quite the fight.

Lindhaus Aria

Those sound like really nice canister cleaners, at least from your video I was able to find out what they sounded like, I was curious about that. Sounds like that cleaner was definitely abused. Lindhaus makes great cleaners, the problem is purchasing them, they are much more difficult to purchase than Miele or Sebo.

If you contact Lindhaus USA from their website, they could possibly send you an Aria without having to go to a local dealer. Especially if you're just going to add it to your collection.

hose end on Aria

Can someone tell me what kind of hose end is used on the Aria? Is it a 32 mm or 35 mm end, and what kind of connector is used for the power nozzle? Is it the typical mini two prong connector? Since I'm a collector, I don't always use the attachments that a cleaner came with, I like to mix things up.
