The Royal 888, Electro-Hygiene 980, and Galaxy Prestige 990 all had the removable nozzle. I'm not sure if there was a Stark built that way, but since Stark was made by Royal it wouldn't surprise me. Here's a pic of my 980, and the special adapter you need to use attachments for all 3 of these models.

As to having a removable nozzle, no, the 992 and 993 did not. The 888, 893, 980, 990 and the rare 2001 and 2002 were. Here is the 2001, which at the time was produced to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Electro-Hygiene brand (originally founded in 1934). ~Ben |
