Just a quick quesion: I am sort of excited for my nilfisk powerhead to be ready for use with my gd2000. My nilfisk canister is better than most uprights right?
Should I have spent the 350-400 on buying a sanitaire or bissell upright?

I've never used any of the models you mention but if the Nilfisk is meeting your needs and expectations, then it is the proper decision for you. Like you, I would certainly have to think twice about what I would actually be getting for that extra $350-$400 that the less expensive machine does not offer.

The sanitaire is an absolute beast on deep cleaning carpets. The bissell is the 5 amp sanitaire which is good but not nearly the beast a 7.0 amp sanitaire.
I living in america never tried or owned a nilfisk. It has 13 filters which is nuts. I'd say with an aggressive power nozzle and extensions for attachments to get under couches etc it will perform better all around for you. The sanitaire is an upright. The hose on the canister with attachments gets under ri
Ugs, dog beds furniture etc. I found that out using my compact getting where I just mentioned mentioned. It's ideal if you use correct way.
