Beautiful job, lovely example of a 700 with original bag. Congrats. |

So beautiful. Excellent restoration Super interesting switch. I wonder if they used two different ones through the 700 range. My 700s had this one. Sorry for horrible Pic this one is very old |

My model 700 also has the stamped-out H switch like brando_husky's one. You wouldn't believe how delicate and fragile they are, it wouldn't take much to snap it off completely. Maybe the one that is on Kyle's vac was a later revision to the design of the switch? I also have a 1960's rebuilt 700 that has the light switch style toggle.

Is a very early model. I believe they swapped to your style switches later. Also this is not the only 700 I have with this switch. Later models also had a patent script below the bag. Mine does not.

Interesting. Do you think they changed the badge as well? I've had a 700 with orange badge and one with black |
