Ive been rebuilding my kirby legend 2 and wanted to upgrade my sleeve bearing brushroll to a oem ball bearing brushroll. I messaged my local vac store to see if they stocked them and they had a aftermarket one with no magnet for the BRI. To me using a kirby with no BRI is like driving a car with no speedometer. So i stopped by one day to see if they could get an OEM one expecting to pay $40 or over. They could in fact order a OEM brushroll and it would only be $28 I was really surprised. While there I asked if they had an old rainbow r4375c power nozzel housing laying around. I have the r2800c power head and was tired of it not locking in the upright position and picking it up and it flopping down and breaking the pivot arm and housing. They had a complete r4375c power head in good condition that worked. $15 and it was mine. Couldnt pass it up. I needed a new pivot arm and housing anyway. Motor works but carbon brushes are just about gone. Sadly the motor brushes by themselves are discountined so I switched out the parts from mine now i have a power head that is not flopping around when i pick it up. Always check out your local vacuum store first. You just might find what you looking for and thensome.y

You could have saved that one for an older Heritage I or II without the BPI light.

Also, the 13" wide nozzle had no BPI light, since it was based on an older (1950s) design.
