Just bought a new ProTeam GoFree Flex Pro cordless backpack vacuum. You backpack vacuum fans may like this one!It was expensive-but worth it.No cord so you can go anywhere without the trailing cord. The machine runs off a 36V 12Amphr lithium battery pack. The vacuum has two speeds-hi-the vacuum will run for 70min .Low 100min.Tried the vacuum at Mikes vac place-vacuumed the whole floor with it.Used hi speed. When time to check the bag afterward-lots of black dirt and dust-threads and tiny fabric scraps from around the demo sewing machines. Also picked up a dropped penny-could hear it rattle thru the wand adn hose-then the "thoop" into the bag! After this demo session used one mark of four on the battery. After my test at home-one mark.Mike provided an adpator so I could use the Volt powernozzle with this vacuum-a cordless vacuum team-worked well!Next thing is to vacuum the dryer lint in the laundry room. This vacuum uses 1.5" commercial tools adn wands. The vacuum kit includes the vacuum, one 12Amphr battery and charger. Also a wand, multiuse floor tool, and a dust brush, crevice tool, and upholstery tool. The floor tool works well on carpet or hard floor.

The cordless ProTeam vacuum has a brushless motor.Sounds sort of like a Rainbow when started.Does really well with the Volt powernozzle.ProTeam dealers have or can get this vacuum. The Greenville Sew&Vac is a ProTeam dealer.

backpacks

I like backpacks, I have 8 in my collection, not big on cordless vacuums in general though, they are simply not as powerful as corded cleaners, there's no way around it. If you use a 50 foot extension cord, it should give you plenty of freedom to move around. I can easily clean my entire apartment with that, and I have a couple more extension cords that I could combine together if I needed to. I have the Proteam Supercoach, it's also a very good backpack cleaner.

Don't let the power fool you this ProTeam machine is indeed powerful.Moreso than other cordless vacuums now out there.NOW-The backpack has a cordless friend---A cordless ProTeam "FreeFlex" cordless upright! This machine is equivelant to a full size plug in direct air upright vacuum. This upright can run from its rechargeable battery pack or a cord. The battery is 76V In the book on this machine doesn't say how long it cn run from the battery. You can run it as long as you want from the cord.To use the cord-unplug the battery and plug the cord into the socket on the back of the vacuum where the battery was. With the cord the vacuum runs at two speeds-hi or lo.With the battery the upright runs at high only.At the vac shop ran the vacuum off the cord while its battery was charging-about 2 hrs. When I got home finished charging the battery and vacuumed the floors in my house a few times.Battery still at full level.Basg a little full.A unique feature of this machine is it has a removable brushroll just like a Sebo upright!A Sebo brush won't fit, though.Mike is ordering a pack of bags for this machines.Uses Filtrete style bags.A Hoover "Y" bag can fit and work!A display on the front of the floor nozzle shows the status of the brush adn bag or if the machine gets clogged. This guy is truely in the power class of a regular plug in upright.Happy with this.Mike has sold both an upright and the backpack to a commercial user and they are pleased with them.Yesterday I put an extra NSS M1 hose on the backpack and used it like a regular canister vacuum. Some areas in my house the backpack is too clumsy. Those hose-10Ft worked GREAT!!!Just carry the vacuum and set it down vertical where I am going to work.Just fine!!The battery on the backpack is half right now.The upright-full.Love both of these. They are fun to use.Just pick it up and GO!!!Of course the backpack is battery only.It won't work on a cord.
