This is a picture of my Kirby 514 with a very close replica of the 513 and 514 bag. The belt lifter seen here wasn't used until the 516...Why?? It took Kirby 4 years to change the logo on the belt lifter to match the logo on the bag.
Just another odd thing that Kirby did, that I never understood. As you can see this is a great looking Kirby that never was, but should have been. This Kirby is in my living room with one of my Kirby lamp assemblies on it. Picture #2 is of my 513 with an original bag and belt lifter. The 513, 514, and 515 had the new logo on their bag with the old logo on the belt lifter. | ||
