Of course, everyone has their favorite cleaner and you should use what you like, but some of these reviews are so biased. This reviewer obviously believes that all vacuums should be bagless and cordless now and that a cordless cleaner will clean just as well if not better than a corded cleaner. I'm not a big upright person but I absolutely love my Sebo Felix, I think it is one of the best, if not the best uprights made today, yet after watching this review you would think it was terrible.

bad Kirby review

Ok, for all you Kirby fans on here, this one is for you. Granted, I'm not a big fan of these because I'm not much of an upright person but that's personal preference. But I know some of what he says in this video is incorrect. If a Kirby is well maintained and the height is set correctly, it will clean carpets very well. I would love to hear what the Kirby lovers on here think of this.

I don't know anything about the Sebo brand or how they function, I can only speak for the kirby. Now as for the Kirby they haven't changed much, especially over the past 30 years. I feel like growing up using a kirby was ok, but it had its issues, as with all kirbys and Im going to list them and state why this is an issue.

(1). The noise
These machines are extremely loud and unbareable to tollerate, especially when using it on hard surface floors. There where times when I rather have just used a broom and sweep than to turn on that machine, because of how loud it was on hard surface floors.

(2). Disengaging the belt
This ties in to the first issue. When having to use the kirby for floors, You'd have to disengage the belt and then use it to clean the floor. This was to time consuming and the belt, which was always in good shape, would always smell like burning rubber.

(3). Storage
Storing the system wasn't that big of an issue. The issue I saw was when storing a bag that has dirt and junk, your storing a breathing ground for bacteria and all that stuff.

Now onto the issues with the accessories and attachments

(4). The Shampoo system
The system was a nice concept and has improved somewhat over the years but can use a major overhaul. The system to to big and bulky looking when attach to the main unit. How do you explain to clean hard to reach areas with it? The same can be said with the updated MS3 system, that allows you to clean all flooring type surfaces. Not mention its too loud. The issue that kirby needs to fix with its shampooers is scaling down the overall size of it, so it can hit in harder to reach areas.

(5). The zipbrush.
This is a nice accessory but it needs improvement. One thing I didn't like about it was that the hair and dirt would get stuck on the brush and not sucked up into the main unit. I think Kirby needs to change that to where it does get suck into the main unit when using it. Also kirby should make it motor driven and not air driven that way it has more power to it.

Those are some of the things I think kirby needs to improve in future models. Going from a kirby, growing up, to now using a dyson cordless for day to day cleaning, I can say that the dyson is a lot quieter and more manuerable than a kirby and it saves on time. The same can be said about my Rainbow SRX. Its a lot quieter and more manuerable than a kirby. The accessories and attachments are also easier to attach and use than a kirby.

That Vacuum Facts guy is known around here. He makes a lot of clickbait and shill videos, and he is totally ignorant of any vacuum brand other than Dyson. If you start telling him facts against Dyson or Shark he will block you after harassing and calling you out.

The last post here about his stuff is here: www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bi...

The less attention said about him the better, but just be aware of him so you don't cross paths - the dude is a nightmare. I put him on my block list before I even started uploading any videos. lol

first time

This is the first time I have seen his videos, it's obvious he thinks that Dyson is the best and that all vacuums now should be cordless and bagless. If that's what he wants to use, that's his choice but to say that because the Sebo Felix uses a bag is unforgiveable these days is just ridiculous. Granted, I prefer bagged cleaners but it's personal preference. He is entitled to his views but the way he reviews these vacuums is flawed to say the least.

I mean, a lot of folks around here are equally biased and think all vacuums should be bagged and corded. But yeah, writing a bad review because of your personal preference is kind of sleazy.

Esp with the Kirby the reviewer DOESN'T know how to use the machine!!!Laughed when he was trying to pick up his Kirby! On here we all know how to lift the Kirby with no problems and change modes.Same sort of thing when he tried the Sebo Felix. The Felix is hard to use as a canister. As an upright-its fine. The reviewer says NOTHING about the disgusting filter cleaning and replacement on Dyson vacuums. The filter can be so nasty to clean-its easier to change them-esp if they start to stink-and they hold dog odors that other bags and filters DON'T!Beleive this clown has been talked about before. He can keep his Dyson "stick" vacs!

This was brought up in a previous thread.

There was a previous thread titled "worst vacuum YouTube channel" or something like that.

I have had several run ins with him, as has many others.

Less the fact that its like he is paid-for by Dyson to make these videos (which I don't think he is to be honest) he is generally a nasty piece of work, that bullies and harasses those who disagree with him.

The Felix is on the of the best modern cleaners you can buy, having had one for nearly 10 years myself. Never used a Kirby, they really aren't common int he UK, but I have no doubt they are the Rolls Royce of vacuums in terms of performance and quality, even if they are heavy and cumbersome.

This isn't to do with Dysons, its to do with his persona. Everything you say has to be back-up by studies and surveys. He is a robot, very pre-scripted and very disingenuous.

Kirbys are definitely high-end, but to be honest I wouldn't call them Rolls Royce, more like an Audi with 4 wheel drive. I love Kirby's because I grew up with them and I certainly think that they outperform many vacuums today, albeit department store brands like Dyson or Shark, and probably more of a hand-me-down machine. 9 times of out 10 the people that own Kirbys have a) grown up with them, b) had one for years and trade them in for newer models, and c) they are used in a heavy commercial environment like churches and sometimes hotels.

This guy is a poison to the vacuum community.
To be clear I like all type of vacuums so it's not about that. Point is that he is very narcissistic and mean towards other vac channel. If someone shows broken Dyson he automatically blames them for breaking it.
I could go on and on, but I just say:
Don't watch his videos.
I personally get irritated just watching first seconds of his videos.

I wouldn't trust that guy to review a paperclip. There is no evidence to support any of his claims.

This guy is a pretty well-known idiot. I have to believe he is paid by Dyson or something to be this ignorant. I've literally never heard him praise a machine other than the V11 while ignoring its own problems. His "reviews" literally just consist of him rambling in a nasally tone about the vacuum, giving "flaws" you would never think of in any sort of daily use.

Be very surprised he is paid by Dyson! I don’t think they need this sort of coverage, no brand of floorcare does!

I can’t and don’t see any brand wanting review videos or replies to commenters the way he comes across in both being advertised across social media like that! If anything it could be seen as damaging!

Each vacuum cleaner suits different people for whatever their needs and wants from a machine is! No one vacuum cleaner will suit everyone!

Good points there.
Way he make videos is something what James Dyson would never accept. Rude and aggressive attitude towards others is his trademark.
According to him Dyson "laboratory" is the only trusted way of testing the vacuums. Everything else is just propaganda and false methods. Basically his whole channel is to show how bad other vacuums are compared to the Dyson. Also he loans well know vacuums like Sebo, Kirby, Numatic & etc. to show how "bad" they are. According to him Dyson V10/11 is the best vacuum in the planet even in the minimum power setting. Best thing to do is not to comment to his videos. It's never ending conversation. He has called us several times "rapid vacuum enthusiasts". He knows how much hate he gets from others than Dyson fanboys.
