Today, I was able to get a set of deluxe Tools for a Dial A Matic... in the box... for a huge $3.00.
Amazing. The only thing missing is the little bag that holds the tools.I also saw a G E "slim" upright. I hear they're rare. I had one, but gave it ti Mike Pletcher years ago.
I didn't have a need for this one, either. But, I don't know anyone who is looking for one, so I didn't get it. Perhaps, if I come across another, I should pick it up.

You passed up a G.E. slim upright? I've been trying to find one for years. They are EXTREMELY rare. Did you see this at a thrift store or an antique store?

It was a flea market.

There was a n entire vac section.Nothing there that "called to me". The G E I gave away came from a home in the Philadelphia burbs. The owners traveled extensively, and I used to mind the house. They gave me an old blue Eureka upright, and the GE. I gave them both away. Perhaps if one does things like that once in a while, it will 'come back to you" one day.

model U5901, in white. The only thing missing is the telescoping wand.
Being that I have several D A M vacs, I thought it to be wise to get another set of tools. And, for three bucks...................... one of my favorite sentences; "Put it in the bag".

That was a great deal for $3. You can never have too many attachments, there are always machines coming that need some tools. I've been fortunate to find some Hoover attachments on eBay over the last 6 months or so to complete some of mine.
