Hi All,

I guess this lock down is causing deep pocket syndrome. A seemingly good Hoover polisher is reaching stratospheric heights on ebay U.K at the moment. I must say one does not see the original boxes for these very often if ever so that might be a factor.

A few great examples of cleaners have been appearing lately reaching dizzy heights.

I like mint examples but I don't think I would buy one as I would never want to use it for the purpose intended as it would never be that way again if you did.

I don't think too many collectors would want to spend the earth for any cleaner. They are great to look at and admire but not for use.

Donating it to a museum would be a good bet as then it would be preserved for the future.

Yeah, it's best to avoid spending big money on anything where the prices are jacked up right now.

Present silly prices

Hello Gary,

I completely agree with all that you say.

Did you see what the BNIB Hoover junior U1012 went for earlier this week!!

I'm fairly sure I know the polisher you referred too.

Regards, Walter.

Hi Walter.

I did see that. I watched in my eBay. It seemed the seller had another right after that they put in a 1 day auction. Not sure if same one or not as same photo was used. The polisher is nice but not for me at that price. I hope it goes to a good home. Some seem to have more money than sense at times. I just got a 375. See it in supermarket thread.

Gary

Hi Walter. Please see my 375 motor thread in supermarket. Maybe you can help Mr 375.

Gary.
