I cleaned the living room today, using my dark turquoise Model L Electrolux vacuum cleaner, light turquoise Model B8 Electrolux Floor Polisher / Carpet Beautifier (the first model in the B8 series) and Host dry carpet cleaner. Host works very well with the B8. The plastic splash guard holds in most of the flakes and the brushes really work it into the nap.

I can't say I've ever used those granual speakers, always the Electrolux shampoo.

I might have to give that a try...

I have model L like that but mines white- also have a few extra cord winders. I also have the floor scrubber/buffer that matches- mine has "T" shape handle though(not near as nice as yours though)

Mom’s Model L

Is just like yours and same color but she didn’t get the cordwinder but I found one once so I added it but then she complained some years later that it was too heavy so I took the cordwinder back off replacing the cord halo. We had the same hose and power nozzle but the power nozzle and it’s wands got replaced with a PN6A in 1986 and the hose in 1984. The 1984 power hose is still good and in use and doesn’t t leak amazingly. Mom has always used genuine Electrolux bags in hers...it has NEVER seen a generic bag amd the bag compartment is as clean as a whistle!

Interesting you have the combo tool hooked on the cord clip. I never thought of trying to store it there.

Your model L is very nice with virtually no scratches.

I see you need the swivel stop for your hose.

I just love the sound of the model L’s. A nice smooth quiet pleasing sound!

Jon
