WOW! good job.

Could you make them out of fondant? Then you could use them to decorate a cake and they'd be eatable.

Thanks,

Yeah I could do that one day :-)

Seriously though.  People make figures out of fondant.

There are people who do the kind of art you've done.

Are you a pro?

What is your favourite Vacuum Cleaner clay model out of those I've made?

Post# 438318 , Reply# 17   2/7/2021 at 15:29 (1,170 days old) by gregvacs28 (U.S.)

It has to be one of the two.

The Dyson I think the proportions and colors are pretty close along with the details around the cyclones.

The other one has finer details and colors you did really well with.  I'm not even sure what brand it is.  Do we have that in the U.S.?

Great job Ryan!!! Sculpting miniatures like that is a valuable talent - architects and industrial designers all need someone with those skills. Keep up the good work! 👍

Its called the Electrolux Velocity over there, but here it is known as the Eureka Altima, and sold in yellow, among other less common colors.

Great job Ryan!

These are not that bad! Clay is such a difficult medium to work with, especially with such microscopic details! I do not think I have this level of patience, lol

Make sure you seal them somehow so they don't dry out

Hello,

These Vacuum Cleaner models are made out of oven type clay.
you make the models and then put them in the oven and they become hard.

Do you mean the Hoover constellation

Post# 438387 , Reply# 25   2/9/2021 at 03:28 (1,168 days old) by gregvacs28 (U.S.)

Hoover300 pointed out the 2nd model you made a clay figure of.

I'm not up on all the latest uprights.  But I know good modeling work when I see it.
