Hi - I have a new to me Rainbow D2.
It came to me with no switch. I will buy a switch, but don't know exactly how the wiring goes.
Does anyone out there have a pic of how to wire the switch?
Thanks very much in advance!
Rob

These aren't very good pictures but they are the best ones I could get as my own unit is in pretty awful condition and I'm afraid of further breaking it by disassembling it more. Hopefully, it should give you a bit of an idea of how it is supposed to look. Good Luck!

Just put a new cord on one of those the wiring was incredibly straightforward.
Black to black white to white green for ground.

Thanks for the replies. I'm new to wiring and doing the best I can!
The previous owner found the broken switch and I've been messing with it a bit. I think I've got some of it right.....I'm assuming that the unattached white wire goes on the 'Off' side of the switch lining up with the white wire on the 'On' side of the switch...and the same with the unattached black wire.
My real issue though, is in pic three....the nub of a broken fastener with what looks like ground wires attached. What did it attach to?
Once again...thank you.

I think I may have figured it out.
The ground connector seems to have been torn out of the housing. I replaced with a new nut/bolt and secured to the housing.
Then attached the remaining two wires and plugged it in.
The switch is broken, but it's broken in the On position, so it worked.
Now to order a new switch and see what happens.
Thanks for everyone's help.
