I have a question about listings for vacuums on eBay that have free overseas shipping through eBay's GSP which says shipping and customs is included.
I was thinking about buying one, but I was wanting to know if anyone has ever did before, and if it really was free? I don't want to have it advertised as free shipping, buy it, and then it gets here and US Customs tacks on like $200 in fees. Last time I did this I bought a vacuum from Canada and the seller got back to me and said he could not ship it to me without another $15, so I paid it, and when it got to me, there was customs postage due stamps on the box, but evidently it was all paid off somewhere along the line. I did recently buy a key rack from Australia through Etsy, and even though Etsy said there may be customs charges applied upon local receipt of the package, when I got it, there was no charges I had to pay at all. |
