Hi I start rebristling brushrolls and brush strips and I'm wondering if something bristles are also held in with glue.
Thanks.

Brush rolls spin at high rpms. You get hair caught in them. Bearings seize up or a belt slips cause extreme heat. Heat melts glue.

You need some copper wiring or thin gauge strong wire and horsehair or similar bristles as what existed at the time the vacuum was made.

There's a diagram here: www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bi...

I asked about the glue regarding rebristling because I saw a thread where I believe his username is Anthony and I saw a picture of glue in his brush strips.
Thanks again.

You get long hair or bristles. You fold them in half where the fold is you staple it to the wood. That's a simple version many have used but don't share.

I'd go with the Gorilla Glue, it's real popular right now.

You will have to have a surgeon remove it.
I hear it's a great shampoo and great styling gel.

Are you planning on rebristling brushrolls and brush strips then NEVER servicing them again?

If so then by all means flood those suckers with glue.
