It really looks like it was just taken out of the box and the handle was put together and this is day one. |

That’s a very strange square profile handle. The last time I saw a square handle on a Eureka fan-first upright was way back in the early 1960’s with the Eureka Super Automatic 260 I grew up with.
Is it possible that is a replacement? I have never seen that on a late model Dial a Nap/F&G Eureka. Bizarre...... |

A lot of our plastic Eurekas had this very handle around this time. So I highly doubt it’s a replacement. |
