My Habitat currently has a plastic base Hoover convertible white with square blue hood, no headlight. It has the white vinyl bag, square Elite style plug and black slide type switch so I'm guessing it's mid 80s ish? Some of the vent louvers on the side of the hood are missing

Not really interested in it, as I'd rather have the curved orange hood version or the Brady Bunch lime green metal base.

That’s surely a late one

Thinking that’s surely just about the last generation of those shortly before or as the elects models started into production. I think they still made those even after the elites were introduced as I remember seeing both styles in the discount department stores together at the same time...late 80s I’d say maybe even 1990.

You are correct, early 90s was the last of the residential Convertibles. I think 1992 or 1993 was when they stopped making them. RS may have been the last household model IIRC.

yes, the RS was the final edition.
