Someone recently came to me with the opportunity to restore a royal 887. I took it, of course. To my prior knowledge, a royal was just like an early Kirby without a miniemtor. Boy, was I wrong. The royal really is a motor with a handle and a nozzle. It was made in the 90’s, but yet you have to oil it! I do love the micro twist dial adjustment.
