Hey, you have a great collection of miele, I never saw a transparent s220 and it looks so cool!
I only have one Miele on my collection, but mine is not an old model, is a s312i.

Impressive line up

Hello Edgar, Love Miele's, especially the old machines. I first remember seeing them in HERENTALS (please excuse the spelling) Belgium in 1972, they were so different from any cylinder made in the UK.....odd one piece unbraided hoses !!!
I next saw them at a local dealer in the mid 80's,the s220 type in a green/mustard colour complete with turbo tool, very robust but expensive. Very much the Mercedes-Benz S class of cleaners for us at the time!

Meile's are now affordable for us in the UK, but I suspect the quality is not quite what it was, what do you think ?

Regards, Walter.

Hi,

The mustard color is the one on the right cold exclusiv, It has a power nozzle indeed. The transparent one is extremly rare, I believe they made only 10 and numberd the serie. Mine is number 6. They were men;t as a showroom model and you could get it if you had seld more than a lot of miele's lol.
The qualitie is still very good but not as good as it used to be. They have to brake down at one moment because og economic reasons.

I'd like a Miele one day, but I'm sure they'll be out of my price range for a long time to come.

Yours are very nice. I've seen a Miele advertisement that a "rainbow" of Mieles similar to yours. My favorite is the transparent model.

Do you have pics of the power nozzles, or are most of the straight suction?

Edgar

Beautiful collection of Miele's. I'm also a huge Miele fan.

What are the production dates of the Mieles in the photo?

Mike

The back row was made from 1976 till mid eighties. At first the red and green one. the mustard 220 and yellow 219 are the last ones off this serie.
