That’s really cool! I had a 2C. But I sold it to my close friend who really wanted one. I do have a C and 4C though. Anyway, that’s a stellar find! You don’t find those often. It looks great too!

Rubber cuff

Bikerray,

Is that a rubber cuff over the top bag clip I see? Why yes it is picture 5 0f 7 I thought so.

Side note: This is further prof that the rubber cuff clamp cover was not a 505 "upgrade" but had been around much longer then "one" may think.

The bag that came with it looks like the same one used on the 1C.

Jim

Show me in a manual it was available?
I'm glad you are the expert on Kirby's. If you have a problem feel free to email me. I'm not going to detail a thread over what you think you know. lesinutah@hotmail.com if not don't read my posts.
The bag is the dual cotton blend super hard to find bag. Very nice.

You can clearly see the rubber bag clamp cover in the 2C manual that you can download from Kirby.

I'm just thankful that the one on my 2C is still soft and pliable.

Rubber cuff

bikerray,

Thank you for posting the picture of the 2C manual "clearly" showing the rubber cuff.
I'm no "expert" just practicing a little common sense. The truth is out there if your willing to look for it. I try not to deal in feelings, just the facts maam, just the fact's.

Thanks again
Jim

505 rubber cuff

Here is the link to the 505 manual again clearly showing the rubber cuff cover. It also shows the first 505's did indeed not come with the belt lifter...nice.

The Kirby 4C manual also shows the rubber cuff, based on this fact I think it's safe to say that the Kirby 3C also came with one, this is where the common sense comes in handy.

Fact

lesinutah's profile picture
Yes a model 3c bag in a 508 manual. That's proof you are correct.
The manuals do not lie. There's your proof.
It's safe to say 508s had black bags with lines on the top. Wtf is the bag I have off an all original 508 brownish/khaki curdouroy. I'm calling kirby I want a refund the manual lied.
