I mean, it's just a filter medium at the end of the day. There is nothing special about it other than that it's shaped like a bag. Pretty much all of those surgical masks, N95's, and vacuum bags are the same thing (spun polyethylene I think), and made by the same machines. To different specifications, sure. But it's still a filter medium.
