As you can tell from my previous posts, I absolutely love central vacuum units, and using them without pipes really gives you the best of both worlds, the power and convenience of a central vacuum without the need to install anything. I'm looking at getting a few more units, and here they are.
These are in no particular order but first up is the Duovac Star.

And then there is the Galaxie GA-80

And last but not least is an Imperium 240 volt model, I think these are made by the same company that makes the Vacumaid brand. It's a 240 volt unit and would be my first split system unit.

All three of these units sound awesome.

Ovo

Have you heard of the Ovo brand before? It looks like they're a new-ish brand out of Camada. They're now selling a "portable" model where you need no pipes and can only use it with a hose. At $299 it is very very tempting. Their other full size models are reasonably priced too.

I'm actually looking into possibly ordering the OVO 700 AW for my aunt that should be done with their new house in just a few months.

Either that or what I personally would recommend for them to have instead is this Allegro package from Amazon.

I entertained the thought of installing a

Hoover central unit here. The thought of the piping, etc going through these old walls.
Hoover doesn't carry them anymore.
But, it's OK. I really don't need it. But, it could have been fun.
